The topic of the research is not to repeat the issues covered by the texts of the coursebook. The presentation must<br>demonstrate the student\u2019s presentation skills as well as their ability to identify topical issues worth investigating, do research using reliable sources of information, analyze and interpret data<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">Stage 1. Identifying the problem to look into<\/mark><\/strong><br>\u25a0 Look through the texts in Units 1\u20133 and identify the issues they deal with so as not to do research on a similar topic.<br>\u25a0 Based on your personal interests decide on the topic of your research (make sure it is a debatable issue).<br>\u25a0 Formulate a good research question and a working title.<br>\u25a0 Get feedback from your professor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">Stage 2. Doing research<\/mark><\/strong><br>\u25a0 Investigate the topic you chose using reliable sources of information.<br>\u25a0 Analyse the information you have gathered and make conclusions.<br>\u25a0 Articulate the claim (answer to your research question) and the points \/<br>arguments that support it.<br>\u25a0 Make sure you have evidence to illustrate the points you are going to make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">Stage 3. Preparing a PPP<\/mark><\/strong><br>\u25a0 Revise the guidelines for making presentations and the parameters and criteria for assessing project presentations.<br>\u25a0 Prepare your PPP; try to anticipate the questions you might be asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-color\">Stage 4.
